History  

 

A.C.Marine was established as a trading company in1992 when Ing. Anthony Camilleri a 34 year old mechanical engineer, keen yachtsman and ex national dinghy champion for the Enterprise class started importing Crusader Sails and North Sails from the U.K. He also started to import and install Furlex, Bamar and Harken headsail furling systems. In 1993 A.C.Marine was appointed Kemp Masts U.K. authorized sole dealer and service agent in Malta, which now forms part of Selden Mast of Sweden.  

In April of 1994 A.C.Marine became a limited liability company, run by family members. A.C.Marine Co.Ltd. was appointed authorized dealer for Bavaria Yachts of Germany in 1994. In that year the first prototypes of the Bavaria 39 and 37 were launched in Malta and pictures for the brochures of these new models where shot on location in Malta. The sales for Bavaria Yachts in Malta went from strength to strength and by 1998 record sales were reached when 12 new yachts  were sold during that year.  

In 1997 A.C.Marine Co.Ltd. was appointed official representative and dealer for Elvstrom Sobstad sails of Denmark .

 

Today

 

A.C.Marine Co.Ltd. is now established as a leading import agent for yachts, sails, masts and rigging equipment in Malta and offers a first class after sales service to all its clientele. Today the Bavaria fleet in Malta is in access of 60 yachts which vary from 30 to 47 footers all of which are privately owned. It is also worth noting that A.C.Marine Co.Ltd. holds a market share of 70% of  new yacht sales in Malta.

 

A.C.Marine Co.Ltd is well known in Malta for the customization of yachts which vary from installations of electronic equipment to alteration of layouts and improvements on rigging and installation of other performance related equipment.

 

A.C.Marine Co.Ltd offer a complete service, from organization of transport from Germany to Koper marina in Slovenia till the yachts are rigged, launched and commissioned by our staff in Koper and then sailed to Malta .
